Sanja Brkić’s engagement in humanitarian work started in the year of 1997.  Her previous projects showed a strong inclination for children’s welfare, happiness and education.

​

Among many initiated and executed projects, we would like to highlight the following:

​

• Refurbishment and renovation of Hospital for Children with Special Needs in Gornja Bistra

• Donation to Foster Care Centre in Karlovac

• Building sports playground at schools

• Helping raise funds to provide scholarships to talented young sportsmen and classical musicians

• ​Numerous individual actions, scholarships and in general support to those in need , outside above mentioned organizations

​

Currently a member of the Rotary Club Zagreb International, Sanja Brkić continues to support children’s happiness and education through various projects, such as:

​

​Opportunity 2U – initiator of a project whose mission is to provide scholarships for ex-protégés of foster care centers.

​

Sanja is also a member of the board for the Heart of Zambia Foundation, whose aim is to provide scholarships and build schools for the children in the Western province of Zambia.
